About This Place

The Kwan Kung Pavilion is a temple dedicated to the Chinese god Kwan Kung who was a warrior in the eastern han dynasty. The temple consists of the core building which has an eight-feet-tall Kwan Tai statue in it as well as a garden with cherry blossom trees which attraction thousands of visitor to see the cherry blossom in the beginning of the year. Travelers could reach this place by walking along the Kwun Yam Wan Rd and it is very close to the Cheung Chau sports ground.
